About the Author

Keith Matthews is a partner and portfolio manager at Tulett, Matthews & Associates Inc. The Tulett, Matthews and Associates Investment Counsel is a premier provider of the private client solutions and strategies outlined in this book. Keither can be contacted at keith@tma-invest.com. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1987 and holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

In 1997, Keith left the institutional investment management industry to work directly with private investors because he wanted to make a difference. He is passionate about communicating the benefits of building well-diversified, transparent, efficient, and conflict-free investment portfolios for investors.

His firm is part of the Final Frontier Group (FFG), an independent group of seven successful portfolio managers and advisors from various firms across Canada who meet on a regular basis to share "best practice" ideas. The thread uniting members of the group is a common belief in investment philosophy, portfolio management strategies, and client servicing initiatives. The advisors and advisory firms in the FFG oversee more than $1 billion worth of private client assets.

Keith's articles and views concerning asset allocation strategies, portfolio management tools, and trends in the financial services industry have frequently appeared in a variety of Canadian media sources. He is actively involved in investor awareness and has participated in many corporate-sponsored employee investment workshops.
